KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Hudson Baldridge, 2, has been the identified as the victim of a possible drowning Sunday, Sept. 1, according to the Kosciusko County Coroner Tyler Huffer.
Huffer reports at approximately 1:24 p.m. his office was notified Baldrige was found to be deceased at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. The child was transported from his residence by Lutheran EMS from North Gilliam Drive, Warsaw, for a possible drowning.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, a forensic autopsy was performed. Drowning is the preliminary cause of death. Toxicology results are pending with Huffer noting the results can take up to six to eight weeks. The preliminary manner of death is pending.
Additionally, Huffer notes there is no suspicion of foul play at this time.
“This is an ongoing investigation with the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and the Warsaw Police Department. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family, and we hope they are respected during this difficult time,” stated Huffer.
